Labov In the spirit of fostering better internet habits, I'd like to share some blogs and newsletters I've been enjoying lately. I encourage you all to share your favs, as well. Ludicity, at https://ludic.mataroa.blog/. He's an engineer/programmer type who recently went viral for his post I Will Fucking Piledrive You If You Mention AI Again. As someone who is also frustrated working in the corporate world, I find him relatable. Max Lavergne at https://substack.com/@infinitegossip. He's a writer/poet type. I like him, he's worth a subscription in my view. His latest piece Rusty Foster at https://www.todayintabs.com/. On hiatus! Very sad. But the archives are worth a dig. If you like media drama but hate wading through the muck, he picks out the juiciest bits.
Manikobunneh I did actually read the blog "I will fucking piledrive you if you mention AI again" - very fun and insightfully written, so there's a recommendation from my side as well!
Labov Manikobunneh I like the blog platform he uses too. "Mataroa." Very easy to use, no monetization. It's gotten me into blogging again!
ducky Labov I've been using Feedbin since they took down Reader. I haven't really looked at what other sites have to offer, so I don't know if it counts as a recommendation. 🙂
ducky This is not a recommendation per se, but I remember stumbling into this https://kagi.com/smallweb I think it's sort of a collection of small blog posts from the last two weeks.
Labov ducky now that is very interesting! This seems like a fun way to discover new feeds. I'm gonna be playing around with this, thank you
